Cut Spending Now Visits the Sunshine State

The Cut Spending Now tour spent three days in Florida this week. Beginning in the panhandle on Monday, in Ft. Walton Beach, activists gathered to express their frustration with the government’s spending problem. Later that day, the tour stopped in Jacksonville, FL.

Tuesday was spent with the patriots of Port Orange in the morning and Orlando in the evening. The message was loud and clear at each of these stops. Margie Patchett, Founder and Executive Director of Volusia Tax Reform shared her inspiring story in Port Orange motivating others to keep up the fight to take our country back. In Orlando, Grant Maloy, Co-Chair of Center Right Coalition of Orlando, discussed the amount of tax-payer dollars used for unnecessary government departments.

The tour wrapped up in West Palm Beach where, in spite of some rainy weather, there were representatives and members from some terrific local patriot organizations as well as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County.

After touring the sunshine state with a total of five stops, and spreading the message that Washington needs to Cut Spending Now, one thing is for sure- Floridians are fed up! It’s the spending, stupid!
